Sisters. Do I need to say much more?

One of the most sacred relationships in life: sisterhood. A bond that is not easily broken, built in since birth. With that said, my sisters also have the potential to drive me to levels of stress and anxiety that have never been reached before. I say this all with love, obviously.

Only those nearest and dearest to my heart have the ability to affect me in such extreme ways. To make me feel such an immense love that my heart can burst and then turn around and give me the IMMENSE desire to hit one of them on the back of the head. With all this said, I am so grateful for the time I have been able to spend with my little sister Caroline. She has lived with me (in my room) for the summer…testing my patience, using my shampoo, wearing my clothes, and making me realize that I missed her when she would go stay with friends.

We decided to take a trip to Big Bear Lake for a little overnight getaway. It was the perfect opportunity to take a break from the LA traffic, get some fresh air, stay in a trendy little cabin, and drink some wine (and Dr. Pepper) by the fire. You know, all the sister things! We stayed at a boutique mountain getaway called Noon Lodge. Super quaint. Next time, I really want to try glamping. Have any of you done it? Share your experience in the comments… I am so very curious!

And here we are…doing sister stuff:
