A lot of you had asked about the cozy look I posted to my Instagram last week, so I thought I’d share the deets. I hope to make this an ongoing series that showcases what I was wearing on social media i.e. “Get the Social Look.” ANYWAYS, about that cozy look. I wanted to share with you all the details and how you can get that EXACT fall look so read on my fellow followers…

The social look:

Steps to get the look:

fall-faves

Step 1: Get Cozy. I could not be more obsessed with this sweater dress from Revolve. It is my current fav fall staple and looks killer with OTK boots or even just with leggings in case you live somewhere that actually experiences fall. But you can easily get this look with any cute chunky sweater, I included some of my favs for you to shop at the bottom of this post.

Step 2: Geek Out. Whether you need prescription glasses or not (confession: I don’t wear prescription glasses), these specs from EyeBuyDirect are just the cutest accessory this fall. AND pay attention fellow bloggers, these glasses have special lenses that filter the blue light from computer screens so your eyes are less strained. Impressive, right?

Step 3: Tie It Back. When it comes to just chilling around the house I def prefer my hair to be back out of my face and lucky for me, this hairstyle is V on trend. Cue Khloe Kardashian. Just pull your hair half-up half-down and tie with a cute little hair tie (loving these rn or try the clear tiny elastics from the drug store) and you’re good to go, or to just stay cuddled on your couch.

Step 4: But Kinda Try. I know I get a lot of questions on my hair and I promise a post is coming soon on my everyday hair! But in the meantime, I can tell you I got this look using one of my fav products for getting natural beachy curls, the T3 wand. As much as I would like to say I woke up with this look, no one does!

Step 5: Don’t Forget the Booties. If I didn’t include boots in a fall look, would you event take me seriously anymore? Cause they are clearly a necessity. This season has so many cute booties I don’t even know know where to start, but when in doubt I say go something cute and tan or something black with cute details like these dolce vita boots.

Step 6: California Problems. OK so this part of the look totally depends on where you are living, but in my case, (and all you Cali girls) jean shorts aka jorts are a year round go-to. I absolutely love the look of shorts and sweaters for fall with a great pair of boots.

Are there any other looks from my IG or snapchat you’d like me to share with you? Let me know in the comment section!
